When Mr Tan founded Tungsan, he only focused on supplying chilli products to food stalls in Singapore. From a humble one-man operation, we have grown into an established and reputable company serving customers worldwide, having our own manufacturing facility, staff strength of more than 60 and an annual production output of close to 1,000 metric tons in 2008. More recently, the company has developed new capabilities in the retail and distribution of its products, food solutions for customers in the food business, as well asculinary solutions for end-consumers to cook at home.
The company has been awarded Grade A by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) for achieving Food Safety Excellence. Based on the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety system, Tungsan is assessed and graded by AVA annually.
